These are such a fun at-home DIY treat. We love bringing them out for a fun get-together.

Ingredients
4+ Ounces Sushi Quality Tuna (we buy from HMART, Tensuke, and Mitsuwa)
½ an Avocado
Lotus Root (we buy pre-sliced bags from HMART and Mitsuwa)
For the Tuna Sauce:
Tamari Soy Sauce (Order HERE)
Sesame Oil (we prefer toasted, order HERE)
Chili Oil (Order HERE)
Yuzu Juice (Order HERE)
Fresh Chive
Shiso Leaf | optional ((we buy from HMART, Tensuke, and Mitsuwa)
For the Lotus Root Chips:
Avocado or vegie oil
Chili Oil
Sesame Oil
Salt
Peper
Cayanne
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
Preparation
For the Tuna
Cut up your tuna into small cubes and place into mixing bowl. Add in your sauce ingredients and mix. Cut up your avocado and chive and add to bowl. Mix gently. Cut shiso leaf into small pieces, add, and mix gently again.
For the Lotus Root Chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Either cut your lotus root into thin slices or open and dry your pre-sliced lotus root pieces. Transfer to mixing bowl. Add your oils and mix. Add your seasoning and mix. Place evenly on baking sheet and foil. Place in oven. Checking and removed cooked pieces every 5 minutes until all cooked.
Let lotus root chips cool then transfer chips and tuna to two serving bowls and enjoy!
